Calling all Game of Thrones fans...

Did you know we visit some of the filming locations on both our Croatia Original and Croatia Dubrovnik route?

DUBROVNIK: King’s Landing

Jesuit Staircase

Follow in Cersei Lannister's footsteps; walk the 'Walk of Shame' down the steps of the Great Sept of Baelor in King's Landing, located on the south side of Gundulic Square. We wouldn't recommend doing it naked though.

St Dominic Street

This street is mainly used in most of the market scenes in King's Landing. Located near the Dominican monastery, St. Dominic Street links Ploče Gate through with the main street, Stradun.

Ethnographic Museum: Rupe

This museum, located in an old granary, dates back to the 16th century and it's exterior doubles as the brothel of Petyr Baelish (Littlefinger) where Tyrion Lannister meets Oberyn Martell in season four.

Ploče Gate

This gate situated at the east entrance to Old Town was built in Romanesque style at the end of the 14th century. You might recognise it as the Red Keep Gate. Above the entrance of the Gate there is a statue of Sveti Vlaho, the patron saint of Dubrovnik. Cersei Lannister passes over the bridge and enters the Red Keep after her walk of shame at the end of season five.

Rector’s Palace

The humble abode of the Spice King. Daenerys Targaryen asks for ships to take her army across the Narrow sea in season 2; this is shot in the external parts of Reactor's Palace. The palace was built in the late 15th century for the elected rector who governed Dubrovnik at the time.

Lokrum Island

Six hundred metres off Croatia’s mainland is the city of Qarth, ruled by the ‘pureborn’ and otherwise known as Lokrum Island. This is where Daenerys Targaryen gets a frosty welcome from the Spice King. Dating back to 1023, it's told that Richard the Lionheart sheltered here, after his ship was wrecked when he was returning from the Crusades.

Bokar Fortress

Look familiar? This fairytale-like building is often featured as King's Landing.

Pile

Arguably one of the prettiest places in Old Town. This transport hub for seafarers arriving in the west is shot as Blackwater Bay. In series three, we see Shae and Sansa Stark watch the ships before Littlefinger discusses escape plans with Sansa at the end of the jetty.

Mineeta Tower

Found at the highest point of Dubrovnik, you may remember seeing Daenerys trying to find the entrance to the House of the Undying here.

Trsteno Arboretum

The majority of the garden scenes in King’s Landing take place here. Built in the late 15th Century with viewing platforms overlooking the Adriatic; Sansa dishes the dirt on King Joffrey here in season three. It's also where Lord Varys and Olenna become allies.

SPLIT

Diocletian’s Palace

The 1700-year-old Diocletian’s Palace was constructed by Emperor Diocletian in the 3rd century and remains Split's most famous site. It's here that we see Daenary's in her throne room, where she trains her dragons and where the 'kill the masters' scene in season four takes place.

In light of it being the grand finale, the final season, why not relive it all and take yourself on a tour of all the famous spots this summer? Join us and sail to see it all in Croatia.
