Play your music to a floating crowd from around the world: open-air onboard sets, sunset sessions, beach clubs, and raft-ups where yachts line up like a festival stage on the sea.
This is the DJ role for someone who wants adventure with the volume up. You’re not just playing tracks. You’re soundtracking the week: daytime grooves while the fleet sails, golden-hour lift-offs, and late-night moments when the whole place goes off.

You’ll join the Yacht Week team as a guest-star DJ for the week, performing in stunning locations for an international audience that’s here to celebrate. Bring the energy, read the room, and make the moments everyone remembers.
You’ll be part of the Yacht Week lineup — playing official moments across yachts, raft-ups, and partner venues. Your job is to set the tone and keep the energy moving, wherever we dock.
This isn’t a “one set on repeat” gig. Events happen throughout the day and night, so you’ll need range: daytime sailing vibes, sunset lift-off, and peak-night pressure — all for an international crowd.
We’re looking for DJs who can read the room fast, adapt to different environments, and make each set feel like it belongs to that exact moment.
On the practical side: show up on time, prepared, and technically solid (with backups). And bring range — you’re playing to the same crowd across 6 nights, so it’s about rotating sounds, switching themes, and keeping it fresh, not running the same nightclub “house hits parade” on repeat. This is your chance to show depth and take people on a journey all week.
You’ll work closely with event managers, hosts, and skippers — and if you need support, ask. We operate like a crew, and everyone wants the same thing: your best set, every time.
| DJ team setup | Typically, 2 DJs are assigned to the crew yacht for the week |
| Playing format | Most nights are back-to-back with the other DJ of the week |
| Rotation style | Rotate throughout the night (alternating blocks) OR split the night (first half / second half) |
| Typical set times | Varies by venue; usually 21:00–02:00 or 22:00–03:00 |
What changes week to week
Exact venues, timings, and number of events depend on destination, guest flow, and weekly program
Yacht Week typically runs from Saturday to Friday. Saturday is the arrival and opening activities. Sunday through Thursday include sailing days, beach clubs, and night events. Friday concludes with the final parties and departures. This is, more or less, your typical work schedule. The exact schedule may vary depending on the guests, location, and week.
| Day | Typical Yacht Week flow | DJ sets (example) |
| Sat | Arrival + marina meet-ups | Welcome / Opening party near the marina |
| Sun | Sailing day + evening venue | Evening gig (venue/party) |
| Mon | Sailing day + raft-up + night venue | Daytime raft-up set (~2 hrs) + Nightclub set |
| Tue | Sailing day + night venue | Night event |
| Wed | Sailing day + night venue | Night event |
| Thu | Sailing day + night venue | Night event |
| Fri | Final parties + departures | Closing moments (varies by week/location) |
Accommodation is provided aboard a sailing yacht. This is typically a shared double or bunk bed cabin. All meals during the week are included, as well as drinks at official venues. DJs will also receive official Yacht Week merchandise.
This isn’t a standard paid gig — the real value is the experience: a Yacht Week sailing holiday at essentially no cost, with accommodation onboard + meals included, and access to official events while you play as the week’s guest-star DJ.
All you need to do is get yourself there. From the moment you touch down, we’ve got your back with transfers and crew support all week (with the usual Yacht Week reality check: life on a yacht is still an adventure). Details are confirmed once you’re selected.
Yacht Week is a global community, and DJs are part of the crew that brings it to life. We welcome DJs onto the team across all Yacht Week destinations — including Croatia, Greece, Italy, the BVI, and Tahiti (plus any new locations added in future seasons). The more flexible you are, the more chances you’ll have to join a week.
Getting there: you cover your flight to the start port — then we take it from there.
Once you land, you’ll get clear arrival instructions and support getting to the marina.

We’ll confirm the exact airport + transfer plan when you’re selected for a specific week.
| Destination | Airport |
|---|---|
| Croatia | Split (SPU) |
| Greece | Athens (ATH) |
| Italy | Catania (CTA) or Palermo (PMO), depending on the week |
| BVI | Tortola / Beef Island (EIS) |
| Tahiti | Papeete (PPT) |
Yes — you should have real live performance experience and be confident on decks in front of an international crowd. If you can read a room fast and keep energy moving, you’ll fit in.
Yacht Week is all about range. Your sound can have a lane, but you need to adapt: daytime sailing vibes, sunset lift, and peak-night pressure. Flexibility wins.
At official venues, yes — equipment is typically provided, and you’ll get the technical details in advance. For onboard/raft moments, setups vary by week, so we’ll brief you early and expect you to be technically reliable (with backups).
Yes — and if you’re flexible across destinations, you increase your chances of being selected.
We start with a 10-minute recorded video interview — your chance to shine and tell us why you’re the DJ who will elevate the week and fit the team. If you’re shortlisted, we’ll set up a quick call, listen through a few of your sets, and confirm experience + availability.
Yacht Week isn’t just one week on the water. It’s a global party circuit. Standout DJs can get invited back for future weeks, plugged into partner clubs, and booked for Yacht Week events around the world.
