A 7-day social escape in croatia

Croatia is where Yacht Week started, and it's still the route to beat. Seven days of island hopping out of Trogir, down the Dalmatian coast, coves you can't reach by road, castle views over Hvar, ATVs on Bol, parties that run until the sun comes back up. Everyone's single, and the week is built like it: matchmaking events run with Thursday, plus the same bays, rafts and dance floors as the rest of the fleet, every day. Show up... we'll handle the introductions.

FAQs

What is Thursday x Yacht Week?

Thursday x Yacht Week is Yacht Week's official singles collab with the dating app Thursday, held in Croatia. Same route, yachts and events as Croatia Original, but the whole week is singles only with matchmaking events built in.

How does the matchmaking work?

Alongside organised events through the week, there's a tunnel raft matchmaking party with Matchbox. Fill out a quick questionnaire and get matched with a specific person and yacht to go find and meet.

Is there a guaranteed gender ratio?

We don't guarantee a 50/50 split, but we aim to keep the group balanced.

When does Thursday x Yacht Week run?

Thursday x Yacht Week runs one week a year. In 2027 it's Week 34, 21 to 28 August.

How is Thursday x Yacht Week different from Croatia Original?

Same route, boats and events: Trogir to Brač, Hvar and Vis. The difference is it's singles only, with Thursday's matchmaking events running throughout the week.

Where does Yacht Week Croatia Original start and finish?

It's a round trip from the Split/Trogir area, boarding Saturday afternoon and returning to the same marina Friday afternoon. Departures run from Marina Baotić, Kaštela Marina, SCT Trogir, ACI Trogir or ACI Split; yours is confirmed two weeks before in the Key Info section of your booking. Fly into Split Airport (SPU) whichever marina you're at.

How do I get from Split Airport to my marina for Yacht Week Croatia?

Every Yacht Week Croatia marina is 15 to 30 minutes from Split Airport. Bus 37 (about €3) serves Kaštela and Trogir; taxis are easiest for groups.

  • Kaštela Marina: taxi about 15 min, about €25. Bus 37 stops at the marina entrance.

  • Trogir Marina (SCT/ACI): taxi 10 to 15 min, about €30. Bus 37 to Trogir, then a short walk.

  • Marina Baotić: taxi 20 to 30 min, about €45. Or bus 37 to Trogir plus a €15 taxi.

  • ACI Split Marina: taxi about 30 min, about €45; ask for F Cafe, where Yacht Week check-in is. Or the Croatia Airlines shuttle to the Riva (about €5), then a short cab.

Which islands does Croatia Original visit?

Three: Brač, Hvar and Vis, in that order, from Trogir. Brač for Bol and the ATV tours, Hvar for the old town and fortress, Vis for the quiet bays and caves. Exact stops are confirmed in the Yacht Week app and can change with the weather.

Do I need sailing experience for Yacht Week Croatia?

No. Every yacht comes with a professional skipper who handles all the sailing, mooring and anchoring. Help out during the regatta if you want to, or don't touch a rope all week.

What's included in the price of Yacht Week Croatia, and what's extra?

Included: seven nights on your yacht, a professional skipper, all events and parties, DJs, final cleaning, linen and towels, and the dinghy. All cabin categories except Classic Monohull also include a host and on-board food (six breakfasts, six lunches, two dinners).

Extra: flights and airport transfer, food and drink on the yacht (unless you're on a cabin booking with a host), the cash kitty your skipper collects on day one (port fees, fuel, water, shore power, water taxis and the refundable deposit, with anything unspent returned), eating and drinking out, dinners for your skipper and host, crew tips, and optional activities like the Bol ATV tour.

Can I book Yacht Week Croatia on my own or as a pair?

Yes. Book a cabin and you'll join a yacht of six to eight guests with an even gender ratio. You'll meet your yachtmates, skipper and host in the Yacht Week app about two weeks before departure. Groups of five or more usually book a full yacht.

Is food included on Yacht Week Croatia?

Not always. Cabin bookings in every category except Classic Monohull include a host who cooks six breakfasts, six lunches and two dinners, with the food included. Classic Monohull cabins and full yacht bookings don't include food. Full yacht bookings can add a host, but the host's fee doesn't cover the food, so you'll still do the supermarket shop near the marina.

What time is check-in and check-out on Croatia Original?

Boarding is from 4pm Saturday; your skipper confirms the exact time and meeting point in the Yacht Week app. Complete online check-in before you travel or you may be refused boarding. The fleet returns Friday around 3 to 4pm; you can sleep on board Friday night but must leave by 8am Saturday. Book flights home for Friday evening or Saturday.
